and religious minority trust manages Al-Ameen Residential Schools.
The trust consists of educationists, philanthropists and dedicated social workers,

The school is located near Hosakote on Malur Road, just 30 kilometers from Information Technology
and Bio Technology City of India i.e. BANGALORE, the capital city of Karnataka. The campus is spread

The primary school follows ICSE syllabus prescribed by the Council for the Indian
School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The Education Department of Government
of the state of Karnataka has issued No Objection Certificate vide its order bearing
No. ED 206 PGC 2004 dated 21-9-2004 to the affiliation of the Al-Ameen Residential
School to the Council for the Indian School Certificates Examination, New Delhi.
The High school follows syllabus prescribed by Education Department of the Government
of the state of Karnataka. The students are prepared for the SSLC examination conducted
by the Karnataka State Education Examination Board.

A laboratory equipped with required number of sophisticated experimenting tools
enables the students to experiment and learn under the watchful eyes of their teachers.
The library has a good collection of books, encyclopedias and several magazines on varied
topics and subjects of interest. The collection ranges from comics to cartoons, facts and
fictions, humanities and social sciences etc and has an attached reading room with tables
and chair for the students to browse through the books, magazines and newspapers during
leisure hours.
A book bank, established with the help of Central Wakf Council, New Delhi provides
textbooks to deserving students on loan.

Computer Education.
The computer section is equipped with state of art computers, UPS, printers with LAN.
Access to Internet and regular theory and practice makes us unique in imparting computer
knowledge. Every class has a compulsory computer period; and students can learn basics and
expertise in handling MS Office effectively in short span of time. Students interested in
design and graphics can practice using many other software packages.
A series of interesting game packages makes the kids computer crazy. The lab also has
Urdu and Kannada language packages. CDs on various subjects such as Mathematics, science,
history geography and civics are frequently screened on the computers for better understanding
of the subjects.
Medical Facility.
Campus inmates get timely medical aid by experienced Doctors. One Male and One female doctor
regularly visit the school to conduct frequent checkups. Emergency cases are referred to
local hospital/nursing homes. A small pharmacy is functioning within in the campus to
provide timely medical aid and assistance.
Cafeteria
For freshening up and delicacies of the students and the staff a cafeteria offers
chocolates to snacks, soft drinks to coffee and tea at subsidized rates. It has a
separate STD/ISD counter to cater to the students’ need of communication with outside world.
Transport
The school has three vehicles to ferry the day scholars from surrounding areas
and to take the students to various places of visit during the academic term.
This has facilitated the students and the teaching staff residing in surrounding
areas of the school to reach the school on time.
Sports / School Band / Houses
The school faculty encourages the students to take up sports. Indoors and out-door
games are encouraged with the motto to develop sound and healthy body. The students
are provided exposure in participating in inter-school games etc. The students are
trained for school band, which is being used on various occasions. The students are
divided in to four houses viz., Zakriya house, Peer House, Zia House and Bader house
to bring all round development and healthy competition among the houses.

Days scholars are picked up by our school buses, from educationally and economically very backward villages dominated by minority community viz., (a) Kattigenahalli, (b) Sulibella and (c) Hosakote and surrounding areas.

DORMITORY RULES AND REGULATIONS
The ultimate authority to maintain discipline and order in the dormitory rests with the warden assigned to that dormitory.
It is incumbent that every student who resides in the dormitory has to obey the warden and follow the rules and regulations to maintain discipline and order in the dormitory.
The student has to reside in the dormitory to which he has been allotted request to change the dormitory or to live with friends and brothers will not be entertained.
Ragging of any sort will not be permitted either on the campus or in the dormitory.
As students come from different regions and cultural back grounds, they have to learn to respect each other and develop fellow feeling and good will among all students.
Thieving, robbing, stealing, lying, cheating, rumor mongering, using things with out the permission of the owner and mischief making on the campus or in the dormitory will entail summary dismissal from the school. Mercy appeals will not be entertained at any cost.
Absconding from the school by jumping compound wall, will be treated as a crime unpardonable which will result in summary dismissal.
wearing improper dress, improper hairstyle, using abusive language, shouting and singing in the dormitory, ill-treating fellow students, showing disrespect to teachers / wardens / supporting staff will be treated as misbehavior which will entail punishment or fine or both and the parents will be informed immediately with a request to withdraw the child.
Students not focused on studies, showing poor performance in tests and examinations will be counseled first to alleviate their problems if any. If the student fails to show subsequent improvement and progress in studies, such students will be debarred from the school with a notice to the parent.
Time management is crucial for the progress and prosperity in academics and all round development; hence students should follow the time schedule religiously
During school hours the students should be in the school, during prayer time in the mosque; rest time in the dormitory and during study time in the class room or as the warden decides.
Any student who is not following the time schedule will be questioned and appropriate action will be against such student/s
Causing damage to the school property / fellow student’s belongings will be treated as an unpardonable crime and will be punished severely.
The rules and regulations have been implemented to create an environment of peace and harmony and to achieve the goals which we have avowed to achieve such as academic progress, excellent performance and future prosperity and happiness.

BAGGAGE RULES
Every student is allowed to bring only 10 Kg of baggage along with him. Extra baggage will not be permitted in the dormitory.

Assalamu alaikum
Welcome to al-ameen residential school
To complete the admission process of your son / ward, you are requested to follow the below given guidelines.
Obtain the admission form, from the school’s office
Furnish all the details as required in the application form
Paste a Stamp size photo of the student to the application form
Attach the requisite photocopies of testimonials such as School’s leaving certificate / Transfer certificate & progress report of the previous class
Submit the filled in admission form to the office
The office will arrange for a simple entrance test which the candidate has to take. The test is designed to know the academic potential of the prospective student and appropriateness of the student to the class to which admission is being sought.
The principal will conduct a personal interview with the candidate along with the parent
After mutual agreement and satisfaction, the child will be granted admission in the school.
The requisite school fee has to be paid immediately to confirm the admission.
Non payment of school fee within two working days will automatically result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Payment of fee by cheque is not accepted, only cash / DD will be accepted at the school’s fee collection counter.
On admission you have to submit original transfer certificate (countersigned by the appropriate education officer of the region) and progress report of the previous class along with 5 passport size photographs of the student to the school’s office.
Non submission of original certificates will entail in cancellation of admission.
FEES ONCE PAID IS NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE / NON-ADJUSTABLE AGAINST ANY OTHER CANDIDATE.
Once the admission formalities are complete the candidate will be allotted the dormitory in which he has to reside. The school reserves the right to allot appropriate dormitory. Request in this regard for change of dormitory will not be entertained at any cost.
